Mainframe Modernization Consultant

Job Description:

As a Mainframe Modernization Consultant, you will play a key role in helping our clients navigate the complex process of mainframe migration. Your expertise in cloud architecture and experience with modernization tools will be essential in delivering best-in-class solutions to our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as a trusted technical advisor to clients, providing expert guidance on complex cloud mainframe migration challenges.
  • Develop and deliver high-quality recommendations, tutorials, blog articles, and sample code for various stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with modernization tools and products to support mainframe migration and data modernization efforts.
  • Lead the delivery of complex mainframe migration projects, ensuring technical governance and team leadership.

Requirements:

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience in cloud architecture.
  • At least 4 years of experience in IT and mainframe technologies, including COBOL, PL/I, DB2, and CICS.
  • Proven experience with mainframe migration tools like Micro Focus, Astadia, or mLogica.
  • 4 years of experience in Java development and familiarity with Spring Boot framework.
