Geospatial AI Designer Role

As a UI/UX designer specializing in geospatial AI, you will be responsible for creating user-centric design strategies that bring simplicity and impact to digital experiences. You will act as the voice of the user, owning the design process from concept to delivery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Owning the UX roadmap and translating product requirements into wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs.
  • Defining and maintaining design systems, UI patterns, and style guides to ensure visual consistency.
  • Partnering with Product Owners to convert epics and user stories into design deliverables.
  • Conducting user research: interviews, field visits, surveys, and usability testing.
  • Translating feedback into actionable design improvements.
  • Championing UX for rural contexts and collaborating closely with Engineering.
  • Running design experiments and analyzing outcomes.
  • Ensuring compliance with accessibility standards and data privacy guidelines.
Requirements
  • 5–8 years in UI/UX design with at least 3 years designing for mobile-first products at scale.
  • Proven experience shipping customer-facing or mass-market apps with measurable adoption and engagement impact.
  • Hands-on experience conducting field research and usability testing.
  • Expertise in Figma / Adobe XD and prototyping tools.
  • Strong command of information architecture, interaction design, and visual hierarchy.
  • User research and iterative design practices.
  • Familiarity with design for low-bandwidth and multilingual contexts.
  • Ability to create design systems and scalable UI libraries.
  • Basic knowledge of HTML/CSS and awareness of front-end engineering constraints.
