Key Position: Financial Assistant

We are seeking a highly skilled and organized Finance Assistant to provide support to our finance team with day-to-day accounting, administrative, and secretarial tasks.

The ideal candidate will have basic knowledge of accounting principles, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to handle multiple responsibilities effectively.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist with data entry, record-keeping, and maintaining financial documents in an accurate and timely manner.
  • Process invoices, receipts, and payments while ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Reconcile bank statements and company accounts to ensure accuracy and identify any discrepancies.
  • Keep records of customer invoices and send reminders as necessary.
  • Arrange for payments from customers and follow up on outstanding balances.
  • Support month-end and year-end financial reporting by providing accurate and timely data.
  • Assist in preparing financial reports and budgets by gathering and analyzing relevant data.
  • Provide regular updates to management on finance activities and performance metrics.
  • Carry out supplementary tasks in administration and accounts as required.
  • Perform ad-hoc duties as needed and requested by supervisors.
  • Maintain proper filing of financial documents and liaise with suppliers, clients, and internal teams efficiently.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field is essential.
  • 1–2 years of experience in a finance or accounting role is preferred.
  • Proficiency in accounting software such as Zoho, QuickBooks, Tally is required.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills are necessary for success in this role.
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail is mandatory.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision is desired.
  • Excellent communication skills in English are crucial for effective collaboration.
