Senior Software Architect Role

We are seeking a seasoned software architect to spearhead the design and development of our core systems.

  • Crafting scalable, high-performance solutions that meet business requirements.
  • Collaborating with product management to shape product roadmaps and envision future features.
  • Developing solution architectures aligned with business needs in partnership with product management and engineering teams.
  • Leading collaborative design discussions and driving design reviews.
  • Fostering a clear vision for the product/project and developing a long-term strategy to achieve goals.
  • Providing technical expertise in software development and making informed decisions about technical architecture and design.
  • Advocating for technology and architecture-related investments.
  • Implementing solutions that are high-quality, secure, and observable.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Software Development Expertise: 15+ years of experience in technical leadership roles.
  • System Development Experience: 5-10+ years of experience in large-scale distributed system development, including hands-on operational experience.
  • Best Practices Adoption: Experience driving engineering best practices for high-functioning software engineering teams through effective use of tools and automation.
  • Technical Skills: Demonstrable knowledge of data structures, asynchronous architectures, and distributed algorithms.
  • Infrastructure Operations: A strong understanding of software engineering principles and modern infrastructure operations.
  • Solution Development: Ability to build robust, high-scale, generic, and reusable solutions.
  • Team Mentoring: Experience mentoring and training an engineering community on development best practices.
  • Deployment Strategies: Familiarity with deployment and observability strategies that support continuous delivery and high availability in a cloud-native environment.
  • Communication Skills: Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, with strong relationship, collaborative, and organizational skills.
