Job Description

We are seeking an experienced automation tester to develop and maintain in-sprint automated test scripts for UI, API, and integration testing. As an automation tester, you will be responsible for:

  • Developing and maintaining test scripts that meet the required quality standards;
  • Aligning test scripts with acceptance criteria and user stories;
  • Executing automated tests and logging defects with detailed reproduction steps;
  • Creating and managing test data and environment configurations for automation;
  • Identifying and maintaining reusable scripts for system-level and regression testing;

As a key member of our QA team, you will work closely with developers and senior QA engineers to resolve issues efficiently. You will also contribute to the automation regression suite and maintain automation assets.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • 1–3 years of experience in functional and automation testing;
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in Guidewire policy center projects;
  • Hands-on experience with type-script automation tools such as Playwright or JavaScript based frameworks such as Cypress/ Selenium;
  • Hands on experience in Programming based Test Automation toolset and should be part of Test Design for minimum of 2 Years;
  • Independently handle Test Code issue resolution, updates & Debugging;
  • Exposure to QA lifecycle tools such as JIRA or equivalent;
  • Understanding of defect lifecycle management and test standards;
  • Experience in test effort estimation and metrics reporting;
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Skills (Nice to Have):

  • Exposure to unit testing and mobile testing.
  • Experience in improving test coverage and test strategy.
