Senior Automation Tester

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced automation tester to join our team. As a senior automation tester, you will play a key role in designing and implementing automated testing frameworks to ensure the quality and reliability of our software products.

  • Design and implement automated testing frameworks using programming languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript;
  • Develop and maintain test scripts and automate test data management processes;
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize testing requirements and develop testing strategies;
  • Identify and report defects and work with development teams to resolve issues;
  • Contribute to the improvement of testing processes and methodologies.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field;
  • 5+ years of experience in automation testing with a strong background in software QA methodologies and tools;
  • Proficiency in at least one programming/scripting language such as Java, Python, or JavaScript;
  • Experience working in Unix/Linux environments, including writing shell scripts and using Unix command-line tools;
  • Strong understanding of relational databases and advanced SQL skills;
  • Experience with RESTful API testing and tools like Postman, or similar;
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies;
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
