Our Software Quality Role
  • We are seeking a skilled Software Quality Engineer to join our team, responsible for developing and executing comprehensive test plans to ensure high-quality software delivery.
  • The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to maintain rigorous quality standards.
  • Crafting and maintaining automated test scripts for backend systems, focusing on Restful APIs, is a key aspect of this role.
  • They will analyze test results, identify issues, and work collaboratively with engineering teams to resolve them effectively.
  • This position involves continuous improvement of testing processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
Essential Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field with at least 2-3 years of relevant industry experience and testing expertise.
  • Proven experience in software quality assurance, with a strong emphasis on backend automation.
  • Hands-on experience with Jenkins, GIT, AWS, Docker, Kubernetes (K8s), and other related tools.
  • Expertise in testing Restful APIs and familiarity with various testing tools and methodologies.
  • Strong analytical skills, problem-solving abilities, effective communication skills, and good programming skills, preferably in Java.
  • Knowledge of writing test plans for end-to-end workflows for SaaS solutions.
  • Familiarity with test methodologies like functional, black box, grey box, integration, performance testing, etc.
  • Experience with end-to-end test management, ability to work independently, and own the project from start to finish.
  • Passion for building high-quality software products and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong product development experience in an Agile Scrum Team.
