Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Software Quality Assurance Engineer to join our team in India. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of software products.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Define the scope of testing within each release or delivery
  • Provide regular status updates to the test lead or manager
  • Support the testing team and work closely with cross-functional teams, including business analysts, functional leads, and developers
  • Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, identifying key areas of risk and opportunity
  • Craft high-quality test cases, both manual and automated, that cover all aspects of the product
  • Collaborate with development teams to resolve defects and implement corrective actions
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in e-commerce domain testing, with expertise in mobile and web testing
  • Strong understanding of software development life cycles (SDLC) and methodologies such as Waterfall, Iterative, and Agile
  • Proficient in writing and executing test plans and cases in structured environments
  • Hands-on experience in integration testing, functional testing, black box testing, user acceptance testing, system testing, smoke testing, and regression testing
  • Able to identify test scenarios, estimate test effort, and create test plans
  • Working experience with Jira and Agile-driven projects
  • Good analytical and troubleshooting skills
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently or collaboratively as part of a team
Nice to Have:
  • Excellent written and communication skills
  • Strong ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively
  • Familiarity with performance testing and Firebase Analytics
  • Knowledge of testing tools used in the industry today
