Senior Analog Mixed-Signal Design Engineer Job Description

  • Job Title: Senior Analog Mixed-Signal Design Engineer

Job Summary:

This is an exciting opportunity to join a team of experienced engineers in the field of analog mixed-signal design. We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated engineer to lead our circuit design efforts and drive the development of innovative analog and mixed-signal architectures.

About the Role:

  • Lead Circuit Design Efforts: Lead cross-functional teams in the development of complex analog and mixed-signal circuits, ensuring technical feasibility and meeting aggressive performance specifications.
  • Develop Analog Architectures: Develop and implement new analog architectures and circuits, leveraging industry-leading EDA tools to simulate and validate designs.
  • Collaborate with Teams: Collaborate with digital design engineers, CAD, systems engineering, test engineering, and applications teams to ensure seamless integration and rapid silicon bring-up.
  • Supervise Layout Designers: Supervise layout designers and edit layouts to ensure compliance with design specifications and production release criteria.

Requirements:

  • Education: M.Tech/M.S or Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering with relevant experience.
  • Experience: Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in electrical engineering or Ph.D. with 2 years of relevant experience.
  • Skills: Proven track record of taking at least one analog-mixed signal part to high-volume production, proficiency with EDA tools, extensive knowledge of layout effects for circuit and layout design, and ability to communicate and work effectively with geographically dispersed teams.
