Early Years Educator

A qualified and experienced professional is required to deliver exceptional care and education to children aged 0-6 years old in a daycare setting.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, implementing and evaluating educational programs that promote young children's learning and development. Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing high-quality care and education to children in line with established policies and procedures
  • Documenting children's experiences and progress on a regular basis
  • Planning for the next steps in children's development and evaluating their progress over time
  • Collaborating with parents and other professionals to ensure a seamless experience for families

Requirements

To be successful in this role, candidates must possess:

  • A University Degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field
  • Paediatric First Aid qualification desirable
  • Experience working with young children in a professional setting, preferably with teaching qualifications
  • Good literacy, numeracy, and ICT skills
  • Understanding of child development, including children with disabilities
  • Knowledge of child protection procedures
  • Excellent communication, teamwork, and creativity skills
