Oracle Database Specialist

Job Description:

Are you a highly skilled and experienced Oracle database administrator looking for a new challenge? Do you have a strong passion for delivering high-quality solutions and working with talented teams?

We are currently seeking an exceptional individual to join our team as an Oracle Database Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for administering and supporting Oracle databases, including performance monitoring, tuning, patching, upgrades, CPU/PSU installation, and database cloning.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administration and support of Oracle databases, including performance monitoring, tuning, patching, upgrades, CPU/PSU installation, and database cloning.
  • Installation and configuration of Oracle RDBMS software across development, testing, and production environments.
  • Troubleshooting database-related issues and working with Oracle Support when necessary.

Requirements:

  • 7+ years of IT experience, with at least 5+ years specifically in Oracle Database administration, configuration, and troubleshooting.
  • Deep understanding of backup, restore, and recovery strategies.
  • Strong collaboration skills to work effectively with Developers, QA engineers, and Oracle Support.
  • Solid scripting skills (Bash is required; Python is a plus).
  • Strong working knowledge in using AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Copilot, etc.).
  • Good spoken and written communication skills in English.
