Indirect Taxation Specialist

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Indirect Taxation Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess expertise in GST laws, compliance, and advisory, with the ability to handle complex issues and client engagements efficiently.

Responsibilities include:

  • Managing GST compliances, including preparation and filing of GST returns.
  • Handling transaction structuring and advisory on complex GST matters.
  • Drafting replies and submissions for audits, assessments, and litigations.
  • Conducting tax research and preparing client documentation.
  • Coordinating with clients and identifying process improvement opportunities.

Requirements:

  • Strong understanding of GST laws and regulatory framework.
  • Excellent drafting, communication, and analytical skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple assignments and deadlines.
  • Team player with a client-centric approach.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • CA / CS / LLB preferred.
  • Prior experience with a Big 4 firm will be a strong advantage.
