Regulatory Policy Expert

Job Summary:

The ideal candidate will lead the engagement with industry members, gathering insights on regulatory challenges and developing policy recommendations to improve the business environment in India.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Engagement and Research: Build and maintain relationships with industry members across sectors, collecting real-time inputs on regulatory challenges.
  • Policy Development: Lead the drafting of policy notes, white papers, and press releases highlighting systemic issues and provide strategic recommendations to improve the business environment.
  • Cross-Sectoral Analysis: Identify cross-cutting industry-wide regulatory bottlenecks through analysis of member inputs and develop consolidated policy suggestions for government consideration.
  • Government Liaison: Collaborate closely with senior government officials across multiple ministries to ensure regular follow-up and traction on submitted industry issues.
  • Knowledge Sharing: Deliver presentations to industry members on EoDB aspects and policy advocacy tools, enhancing visibility and awareness of the department.
  • Publishing: Curate latest editions of the flagship departmental publication, overseeing end-to-end execution including content, research, design, and stakeholder coordination.
  • Event Management: Organize and manage the National Conference on EoDB, handling speaker curation, high-level outreach, and overall event execution.
