Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Risk and Control Specialist to join our organization. This role is responsible for delivering specific aspects of the risk and control strategy for a sub-division.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Data Analysis: Collect, clean, and validate data to create standardized reports. Analyze resulting large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Reporting and Visualization: Develop and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using tools like Excel, Tableau, Power BI etc. to present actionable insights to stakeholders.
  • Advanced Data Manipulation: Utilize advanced Excel functions (e.g., Power Query, PivotTables, VBA, array formulas) to manipulate and analyze data efficiently.
  • Statistical Analysis: Run statistical analysis or predictive modeling to arrive at informed business decisions.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver data-driven solutions.
  • Data Quality: Monitor data quality, identify areas for improvement, and implement data governance policies ensuring data accuracy, integrity, and consistency across reporting platforms.
Additional Requirements:
  • Review of existing controls framework and documenting required controls in line with the organization's risk framework and taxonomy ensuring Minimum Control Standards are met with and standardized across the global footprint.
  • Ability to continually read and comprehend complex process documentation, assess the control requirements for a process and write the controls in clear and unambiguous language to meet the standards prescribed by the Risk Organization.
