Job Title: Senior Frontend UI Architect

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Frontend UI Architect to lead our frontend development and architecture efforts. As a seasoned expert in Headless JavaScript frameworks, you will be responsible for designing and delivering scalable frontend applications using React, Next.js, and Angular.

This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements, estimate project timelines, and identify technical risks. You will also be responsible for mentoring junior engineers, providing hands-on guidance, and promoting high standards for design quality, performance, and code standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Tech Leadership & Delivery:
    • Lead design and development efforts on complex frontend projects, working closely with backend and data teams to build integrated user experiences.
    • Collaborate with business stakeholders to define product requirements, create technical roadmaps, and prioritize implementation tasks.
    • Provide technical mentorship through code reviews, pairing sessions, and architectural guidance.
    • Partner with QA teams to ensure seamless integration and testing of front-end components.
  • People & Team Management:
    • Mentor and coach junior engineers to improve their skills and expertise, conducting regular check-ins and growth conversations.
    • Contribute to hiring strategies, interview processes, and candidate evaluation, ensuring we attract top talent for our team.
    • Champion diversity, equity, and inclusion in all aspects of team building and day-to-day operations.

Requirements:

  • 8+ years of frontend engineering experience with a focus on modern web stacks.
  • Hands-on expertise in React, ReactJS, Next.js, Angular, TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3, Node.js, JavaScript (ES6+), Redux, TailwindCSS, Webpack, Vite, and component libraries such as Material-UI, Ant Design, or Chakra UI.
  • A proven track record of delivering and owning large-scale production applications, with a strong focus on scalability, maintainability, and performance.
  • Experience in team leadership, mentoring, and cross-functional collaboration, with a passion for fostering innovation and creativity within your team.
