Responsibilities:
  • Perform structural analysis and design using software such as Staad Pro
  • Carry out load calculations to determine the capacity of structures
  • Ensure compliance with codes and regulations
  • Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other professionals to develop design solutions
  • Prepare technical drawings and specifications
  • Conduct site visits to assess structural conditions and propose necessary modifications or repairs
  • Review and analyze structural reports, surveys, and data
  • Provide technical guidance and support to junior engineers
  • Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in structural engineering

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in designing solar PV systems
  • Strong knowledge of off-grid and on-grid solar systems for rooftop and ground-mounted installations
  • Ability to perform costing and estimation of solar power plants, prepare BOQs, and technical proposals
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office and CAD software & Staad Pro
