Web Applications Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Web Applications Specialist to join our team. With 6-9 years of experience and strong cybersecurity expertise, you will be responsible for designing, testing, and securing large-scale web applications, distributed systems, and microservices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and maintain high-performance, secure web applications using Python and JavaScript.
  • Implement robust distributed systems and microservices using Django, Flask, or FastAPI, incorporating OWASP best practices.
  • Implement secure authentication with tools like OAuth and JWT and design event-driven architectures with Apache Kafka.
  • Own the entire testing lifecycle, from unit and integration tests to end-to-end (E2E) and security testing.
  • Implement TDD and BDD methodologies and use automation frameworks like PyTest, Jest, Cypress, or Selenium.
  • Conduct performance, load, and security vulnerability testing using tools like JMeter or OWASP ZAP.
  • Integrate security-focused automated testing into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD).
  • Mentor and guide developers on secure coding and best practices.

Required Qualifications:

  • 6-9 years of hands-on experience in full-stack development.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent.
  • Relevant certifications (AWS, Kubernetes, CISSP, CISM) are a plus.
