Job Summary:

The primary objective of the Asset Protection Specialist is to provide comprehensive security services, conduct thorough investigations, and implement effective asset protection strategies in designated areas of responsibility. The role aims to mitigate shipment loss, maintain customer satisfaction, and adhere to India Security and Loss Prevention guidelines and policies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Review process lapses, monitor losses, and conduct detailed investigations to identify root causes and implement corrective measures
  • Analyze trends at each site, initiate proactive measures to control losses, and perform surprise visits to allotted sites located in Maharashtra
  • Manage SLP-related escalations, incidents, audits, certifications, and documentation updates
  • Process Improvement: Develop and implement Loss Prevention Programs, Conduct Process Reviews, Identify Necessary Improvements, Implement Process Improvisation, Conduct Quarterly Assessments, Generate Loss Prevention Reports, Solicit Feedbacks from Shop Floors, Follow-up, Complete CAPA, Conduct Loss Prevention Audits, Cross-functional Team Audits
  • Loss Prevention Analysis: Expedite Investigations, Submit Detailed Reports, Conduct Loss prevention audits and provide recommendations, Perform Surprise Checks and submit reports, Follow-up, Complete CAPA with regards to Concern areas
About the Team:

The Loss Prevention (LP) team is responsible for leading the effort to efficiently and effectively provide security services and asset, lives, buildings, equipment, inventory, data, and intellectual property protection in a designated area of responsibility. Amazon's LP and shrink reduction efforts are supported by the Global Security Operations (GSO) team through the creation of an overall global strategy designed to optimize resources and leverage technology to mitigate product loss and maintain customer satisfaction.
