A Senior Quality Assurance Automation Engineer position is available in our organization.
We are seeking a highly skilled professional to join our team and contribute to the development of test scripts using Selenium WebDriver and other related tools.
- About the Role:
- This position involves creating and maintaining test scenarios, running tests on various application components and features, and identifying and resolving functional and technical issues.
- The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of testing processes and methodologies, proven experience in automation testing using Selenium WebDriver, and proficiency in programming languages such as Java, JavaScript, Python, or C#.
- Additionally, experience with automation frameworks like TestNG, BDD, and Cucumber, understanding of API testing and tools like Postman, hands-on experience with performance testing tools like JMeter or Gatling, and experience with mobile automation tools like Appium for Android and iOS platforms is required.
- Responsibilities:
- Prepare standard test scenarios in collaboration with Product Management, Development, and Delivery teams.
- Run tests on various application components and features to identify and resolve functional and technical issues.
- Design test scenarios to ensure 100% requirement coverage; prepare and maintain test cases, report defects, and manage the overall testing process.
- Support the software development workflow by actively participating in Scrum ceremonies and promoting standardization measures.
- Bachelor's degree / BE/B.Tech or equivalent in a technical field.
- Strong knowledge of testing processes and methodologies.
- Proven experience in automation testing using Selenium WebDriver.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, JavaScript, Python, or C#.
- Experience with automation frameworks like TestNG, BDD, and Cucumber.
- Understanding of API testing and tools like Postman.
- Hands-on experience with performance testing tools like JMeter or Gatling.
- Experience with mobile automation tools like Appium for Android and iOS platforms.
- Good working knowledge of Agile development processes.
- Familiarity with defect management tools like JIRA.
- Strong team spirit, analytical skills, and attention to detail.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a high level of proficiency in written English.
