Senior Software Development ExpertJob Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Software Development Expert to design, develop and maintain integration solutions using Quarkus and Red Hat Fuse.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Design and Develop Scalable Microservices: Utilize the Quarkus framework to create efficient, scalable microservices that meet business requirements.
  2. Integration Development: Leverage Red Hat Fuse (Apache Camel) for enterprise integration patterns, building robust integration flows and APIs.
  3. Kafka-based Event Streaming: Design, implement and optimize Kafka producers and consumers for real-time data streaming and event-driven architecture.
  4. API Development: Develop and consume RESTful web services and APIs, adhering to best practices.
  5. Database Management: Work with relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL, Oracle) including schema design, queries and performance tuning.
  6. CI/CD Pipeline Management: Collaborate with DevOps teams to build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated build, test and deployment workflows.
  7. Containerization and Deployment: Deploy and manage applications on OpenShift Container Platform (OCP), including containerization best practices (Docker).
  8. Troubleshooting and Support: Participate in code reviews, design discussions and agile ceremonies, as well as troubleshoot and resolve production issues with a focus on stability and performance.
Requirements:
  • Java Experience: Strong experience with Java (Java 8 or above) and the Quarkus framework.
  • Red Hat Fuse Experience: Expertise in Red Hat Fuse (or Apache Camel) for integration development.
  • Kafka Experience: Proficient in designing and consuming REST APIs, as well as experience with Kafka for event-driven and streaming solutions.
  • Database Knowledge: Solid understanding of relational databases and SQL.
  • CI/CD Pipeline Experience: Experience in building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI) and automated deployment.
  • Containerization Tools: Hands-on experience deploying applications to OpenShift Container Platform (OCP), as well as working knowledge of containerization tools like Docker.
  • Cloud-Native Development: Familiarity with microservices architecture, cloud-native development and agile methodologies.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
