Key Job Responsibilities

  • To design, develop and deliver building information models (BIM) for structures using software such as CADSRC, AUTOCAD, Revit, ALLPLAN,BACAD and 3D Reinforcement.
  • Collaborate with project teams to create detailed construction drawings based on global information and intention from engineers.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Proven experience in concrete reinforcement and formwork detailing using BIM software.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team to deliver projects efficiently.
  • Excellent understanding of industry standards and international codes.
  • Strong knowledge of both structural and architecture outlook disciplines.
  • Familiarity with point cloud technology and Revit environment inclusive of pre-cast/cast in situ working models.
  • Proficiency in setting up automation activities and BIM models to project standards.
  • Good communication skills with the ability to coach junior staff in intermediate functions of CADSRC, AUTOCAD, Revit, ALLPLAN,BACAD and 3D Reinforcement software.
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple projects across different sectors.

Core Functions

  • Developing and maintaining relationships with clients to ensure satisfaction with BIM services provided.
  • Inputting into the coordination of engineering services on projects.
  • Preparing and amending models and/or drawings to specified WSP in Switzerland standards.
  • Providing advice and coaching to technicians on intermediate CADSRC, AUTOCAD, Revit, ALLPLAN,BACAD and 3D Reinforcement functions when requested.
  • Suggesting revisions to standards/templates/custom settings as appropriate.
