About this Role:We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical professional to support the generation and analysis of critical financial reports.This contractor role is essential for providing timely insights into project forecast accuracy and enabling proactive adjustments. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of data analysis, experience working with large datasets, and advanced skills in financial reporting.Responsibilities:
  • Data Sourcing & Preparation: Extract, transform, and prepare financial data from various systems, ensuring accuracy and consistency for reporting.
  • Report & Dashboard Development: Design, build, and maintain comprehensive financial reports and interactive dashboards.
  • Advanced Data Analysis: Perform in-depth analysis of financial data, identify variances, and support reconciliation efforts.
  • Stakeholder Support: Collaborate with teams to understand reporting needs, provide insights, and ensure reports facilitate effective decision-making.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • 5-6 years of experience in financial reporting, data analysis, or a similar role.
  • Proven ability to work with large datasets from financial systems.
  • Expertise in data extraction and manipulation using SQL.
  • Strong experience developing reports and dashboards.
  • Advanced proficiency in data analysis using Microsoft Excel.
  • Solid understanding of financial concepts, forecasting, and project accounting.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective communication and collaboration abilities.
  • Ability to work independently in a dynamic environment.
