Job Overview

The position of Associate Test Lead entails spearheading manual testing initiatives, overseeing testing teams, and actively participating in requirement discussions with clients and stakeholders.

  • Lead and manage manual testing efforts across web, mobile, and API applications.
  • Engage in requirement calls, pose clarifying questions, and ensure thorough requirement understanding.
  • Create, review, and execute detailed test plans, test cases, and test scenarios.
  • Assign, track, and manage testing tasks within the QA team to guarantee timely delivery.
  • Provide leadership and mentorship to manual testers, ensuring adherence to best practices.
  • Collaborate with product, QA, and development teams during Agile sprint planning and execution.
  • Suggest automation opportunities and collaborate with automation engineers to optimize coverage.
  • Conduct test demos, report results, and communicate status effectively with stakeholders and clients.
Required Skills & Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • A B. Tech in Computer Science, IT, or equivalent degree.
  • 5-8 years of hands-on experience in manual testing across web, mobile, and API platforms.
  • Experience in requirement analysis, client communication, and QA team leadership.
  • Strong knowledge of test management practices, Agile methodologies, and defect lifecycle.
  • Familiarity with automation frameworks (POM/BDD) and scripting in Java/Python/JavaScript.
