Manual and Automation Test Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

Manual Testing –

  • Execute manual test cases to identify defects in software functionality.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive test documentation, including test plans, test cases, and test reports
  • Collaborate with developers and other team members to understand software requirements and functionalities

Automation Testing –

  • Develop and maintain automated test scripts using industry-standard testing frameworks and tools.
  • Execute automated test suites to validate software functionality and performance.
  • Collaborate with the development team to integrate automated tests into the continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipeline

Defect Tracking –

  • Identify, document, and track software defects using defect tracking tools.
  • Work closely with developers to ensure timely resolution of identified issues.

Regression Testing –

  • Perform regression testing to validate software changes and updates.
  • Ensure that existing functionality continues to meet quality standards after each release.

Collaboration –

Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and business analysts, to understand requirements and ensure the delivery of high-quality software.

Key Skills:

Manual Testing –

  • Strong understanding of manual testing principles and methodologies.
  • Ability to create detailed and comprehensive test documentation.

Automation Testing –

  • Familiarity with automation testing tools such as Selenium, JUnit, TestNG, or equivalent
  • Basic programming skills (preferably in languages like Java, Python, or C#)

Communication –

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Analytical Skills –

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Attention to detail in identifying and documenting defects.

Qualifications:

  • Training in both manual and automation testing is preferred.
  • Knowledge of software development life cycle (SDLC) and testing methodologies.
  • Strong willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and tools.
  • 0.6-1 years of experience in software testing.
  • High level of responsibility and accountability
  • Flexible and adaptable to working in a start-up environment
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to deliver on time
  • Adaptability and the ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Effective time management and project management skills

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹20, ₹30,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Hyderabad, Telangana: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
