We are seeking a highly skilled Business Development Manager to join our team at MProfit, a rapidly growing wealth-tech company.

As a robust, data-driven platform, MProfit aggregates diverse, multi-asset investment portfolios with precision and automation. We serve HNIs, UHNIs, and Family Offices in 300+ cities, collectively tracking 1.5 lakh+ portfolios.

Job Summary:

You will play a pivotal role in managing business development, overseeing growth, and client conversion across your city or region. Leveraging your experience in wealth management, fintech, or wealth-tech, you will identify, engage, and convert HNI and UHNI clients while expanding our presence through strategic lead management and high-impact client engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead Generation & Client Acquisition
  • Leverage your expertise to generate high-quality leads, build a strong pipeline, and conduct in-person meetings with HNI/UHNI and Family Office prospects.
  • Cultivate relationships with affluent clients, wealth managers, and financial advisors to showcase our wealth-tech solutions.
  • Attend industry events to generate leads and promote our offerings.
  • Sales Strategy & Market Insights
  • Develop a strategic plan to drive client acquisition among HNI/UHNI clients and stay updated on industry trends.
  • Conduct market research to understand client needs and tailor strategies accordingly.
  • Relationship Building & Client Retention
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients, ensuring an excellent onboarding experience and continued satisfaction.
  • Act as a trusted relationship manager, addressing client needs and providing tailored product demonstrations.
  • Collaboration & Reporting
  • Work closely with sales and product teams to align client feedback with product improvements and marketing initiatives.
  • Maintain accurate records of client interactions, leads, and conversions, reporting on activities, pipeline growth, and performance metrics.

Requirements:

  • Experience: 3+ years of Wealth Management / Wealth-tech experience in a high-impact business development role, with a focus on HNI/UHNI clients.
  • Financial Acumen: A deep understanding of finance, investment asset classes, wealth management, and wealth-tech SaaS.
  • Relevant Certifications: Financial certifications like CFA can be advantageous.
  • Proven Skillset: Established familiarity with HNI/UHNI clients and a track record of meeting sales targets.
  • Sales and Business Development Skills: Strong prospecting and relationship management skills.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills.
  • Self-motivated & Independent: Comfortable working autonomously with a proactive approach.
  • Tech-Savvy: Familiarity with CRM tools and comfort with financial software solutions.
