Expert PHP Developer Position

About this role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced PHP developer to join our team. As an expert in web application development, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality web applications using PHP and related technologies.

This position involves writing clean, efficient, and well-documented code, troubleshooting and resolving issues, and collaborating with cross-functional teams. You will be responsible for ensuring the performance, quality, and security of the applications and staying updated with the latest industry trends.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop complex PHP-based web applications and websites.
  • Write high-quality, maintainable code adhering to industry best practices.
  • Develop custom WordPress themes and plugins to meet specific client requirements.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve software bugs and performance issues.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement new features and solutions.
  • Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
  • Optimize application performance and scalability.
  • Develop and maintain databases and ensure efficient data storage and retrieval.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3-4 years of hands-on experience in PHP and WordPress Development.
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field.
  • Proficiency in PHP, including experience with frameworks like WordPress or Laravel.
  • Strong understanding of front-end technologies like HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • Experience with database management systems like MySQL or PostgreSQL.
  • Familiarity with version control systems like Git.
  • Solid grasp of object-oriented programming principles.
  • Knowledge of security best practices.
