**Job Title:** Principal PI Consultant, Presales

As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in driving sales growth through AVEVA by qualifying leads and developing effective business plans. You will be responsible for creating and delivering demonstrations that showcase the value of our solutions, as well as engaging with prospects to understand their specific needs and problems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Qualify leads and develop business plans to drive sales growth.
  • Design and deliver technical demonstrations that prove the value of our solutions.
  • Engage with prospects to understand their needs and lead the development of appropriate technical solutions.
  • Conduct value consulting workshops and proofs of value with partners and customers.
  • Build customer relationships and support the development of complex solutions.
  • Support customer queries on product selection and capability.
  • Work with partners, system integrators, and third-party vendors to deliver innovative solutions.
  • Collect customer feedback to inform product enhancement.

Requirements:

  • University degree in Chemical Engineering or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years experience in solution selling, business development, and/or customer value creation.
  • Over 5-10 years solid experience in Oil and Gas refinery/upstream, Chemical, PetroChemical, Pharma.
  • Knowledgeable and experienced in working with Aveva PI/Aveva OSIsoft PI.
  • Hands-on experience in Aveva PI configuration, implementation, integration, and system architecture.
  • Extensive hands-on implementation experience in PI Asset Framework, PI Event Frames, PI Vision, PI Interfaces, PI DataLink, PI Processbook.
  • Strong automation and information technology skills with deep software and hardware knowledge.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to investigate prospect needs and problems.
  • Ability to work effectively in a dynamic team and manage multiple commitments.
  • Excellent customer-facing and presentation skills for complex technical solutions.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work alone or with development staff to develop and present demo applications.

  • Develop good working relationships with clients and provide high-level customer service and professionalism.
  • Work with the Sales team to identify opportunities, provide support, and ensure proposed solutions are feasible and aligned with AVEVA's strategic objectives.
  • Work within a dynamic team, showing flexibility in personal and technical skills to maximize team efficiency.
