Job Overview

\

We are seeking an experienced Property Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 1 year of accounting experience specifically within the real estate industry.

\

The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and analyzing financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with industry standards.

\

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Financial Reporting: Prepare and analyze financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with industry standards.\
  • Accounts Payable/Receivable: Manage all aspects of accounts payable and receivable, including timely processing of invoices and payments.\
  • Budgeting and Forecasting: Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts, providing insights to support financial planning.\
  • General Ledger Maintenance: Maintain the general ledger, including journal entries and account reconciliations.\
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards specific to the real estate industry.\
  • Property Management Support: Collaborate with property management teams to provide financial insights and support for property operations.\
  • Software Utilization: Effectively use US/UK accounting software to manage financial data and generate reports.

Qualifications:

  • Education:- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.\
  • Experience:- 5+ year of accounting experience in the real estate industry.\
  • Software Skills: Proficiency with US/UK accounting software (e.g., Yardi, Entrata).\
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data and generate meaningful reports.\
  • Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy and attention to detail in all aspects of accounting work.\
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Knowledge of real estate accounting.\
