Job Title: Strategic Compliance OfficerJob Description:

The strategic compliance officer plays a pivotal role in ensuring adherence to all applicable statutory and regulatory labour laws.

This role involves end-to-end execution, documentation, governance, vendor coordination, audits, and proactive process improvement across HR compliance activities at the entity and group levels.

Responsibilities:
  • Ensure timely compliance with all applicable labour laws and regulations.
  • Oversee state-wise compliance requirements and filings across locations.
  • Conduct onboarding checks for statutory forms and declarations.
  • Address and resolve employee PF-related queries in coordination with vendors and regional offices.
  • Ensure real-time tracking and closure of compliance deliverables using internal systems.
  • Interpret and implement HR compliance guidelines issued by relevant authorities.
  • Maintain awareness of new and changing regulatory mandates affecting HR operations and workforce governance.
  • Ensure documentation and records are maintained as per regulatory requirements.
Requirements:
  • Graduate/Postgraduate in Human Resources, Labour Law, or related field.
  • Additional certification in labour law or statutory compliance is preferred.
  • 3–5 years of experience in HR compliance, preferably in a regulated industry.
  • Hands-on experience managing compliance audits, inspections, and liaising with regulatory authorities.
  • Strong knowledge of central and state labour laws and statutory regulations.
  • Familiarity with sector-specific compliance.
  • Ability to manage multi-state compliance complexity.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent documentation and audit readiness.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Proficient in using compliance tracking tools, HRMS and MS Office.
