Job Title: HVAC Systems Design Specialist

Role Overview: We are seeking an experienced HVAC Systems Design Specialist to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare accurate and detailed working drawings for commercial and industrial HVAC systems.
  • Coordinate with civil, architectural, electrical, plumbing, and fire-fighting teams to ensure seamless integration of designs.
  • Resolve technical issues and collaborate with site teams to deliver projects within set timelines.
  • Maintain ISO documentation and drawing logs to ensure compliance and quality standards.
  • Support quantity take-offs, drawing approvals, and monitor productivity to enhance overall project efficiency.
  • Identify additional work requirements and inform the Project Manager to ensure successful project delivery.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Strong knowledge of HVAC design principles, including chillers, AHUs, VAVs, FCUs, ventilation, and smoke control.
  • Familiarity with GCC codes and Civil Defence regulations.
  • Proficiency in HVAC calculations and software (e.g., HAP).
  • Knowledge of Revit, Navisworks is a plus.
  • Excellent communication, coordination, and documentation skills.
  • Understanding of related MEP systems and their interdependencies.

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  • HVAC training certification is highly desirable.
