Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop process flow diagrams, P&IDs, and mass balances/process sizing calculations for water treatment and wastewater systems.
  • Conduct flow and quality data analysis to optimize system performance.
  • Develop and implement process models and simulations using software like BioWin.
  • Provide mentoring and support for junior engineers and CAD technicians.
  • Contribute to the production and delivery of high-quality technical documentation.

Requirements:

  • B.E./M.Tech. in Chemical or Environmental Engineering from a recognized university.
  • Professional registration or licensure in their designated home office country or be inactive pursuit of such registration.
  • Awareness of pipe network design codes.
  • Experience in designing water treatment systems, including conventional and advanced systems.
  • Experience in designing wastewater treatment systems, including ASP, MBBR, SBR, MBR, digesters, solids handling systems, and desalination systems.
  • Awareness of quality aspects, including registers, design issues logs, QC processes, and design transmittals.
  • Able to work independently and meet deadlines by following relevant design manuals/standards and practices.
  • 8-10 years of experience in the water/wastewater industry.
  • Hands-on experience in process simulation modeling.
  • Experience in detailed design of wastewater, water, biosolids, and desalination systems.
  • Good English communication skills.
  • Good team player.
