Application Security Specialist

We are seeking a skilled professional to play a vital role in ensuring the security and integrity of our applications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement effective security controls in the CI/CD pipeline to ensure seamless application deployment and execution.
  • Conduct thorough penetration testing and vulnerability analysis to identify potential threats and provide recommendations for mitigation.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and execute application on-boarding or service adoption strategies, ensuring seamless integration and minimal disruption.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation and communication materials to effectively convey complex security concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in application security, penetration testing, and vulnerability analysis, with a strong understanding of project planning and execution principles.
  • Proficient in Azure cloud ecosystem and its native capabilities, with hands-on experience implementing security controls in the CI/CD pipeline.
  • Excellent technical communication and documentation skills, with the ability to convey complex security concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred Skills:

  • Technical expertise in infrastructure setup for application security and penetration testing tools, with knowledge of networking, operating systems, scripting, and version control basics (e.g., Git).
  • Ability to challenge effectively while managing conflicting stakeholder needs, with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
