About this Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Process Engineer to join our team at Wells Fargo Bank. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in driving process improvement and innovation across our operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and lead redesign initiatives to enhance business processes and improve efficiency
  • Manage complex initiatives involving multiple business process segments to identify and mitigate risks
  • Conduct integrated process analyses to identify procedural and control deficiencies, opportunities, and recommend solutions
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand, influence, and adapt research to drive results and bring issues to resolution
  • Make informed decisions and resolve issues to meet business objectives
  • Interpret policies, procedures, and compliance requirements to ensure alignment with business goals
  • Collaborate with peers, colleagues, and managers to resolve issues and achieve goals
  • Interact with internal customers to provide exceptional service and support
  • Exercise independent judgment while developing knowledge to understand function, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements
Requirements
  • 4+ years of Process Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, or education
Preferred Qualifications
  • 4+ years of Agile experience in writing user stories and leading refinement with a Scrum team
  • Foundational understanding of process, risk, and control concepts
  • Proven knowledge about application delivery and implementations within a financial organization
  • Product management or strategic planning experience in the financial industry related to platform onboarding and maintenance
  • Demonstrated experience identifying issues and partnering with peers in technology to identify and implement strategic solutions in alignment with leadership priorities
  • Experience working with Jira, Jira Align, and Visio (or similar process flow systems)
  • Experience working in a flexible work environment to support key team members and partners across various time zones and locations
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Culture of pro-active ownership to drive work streams independently, on-time, and with consistent quality
  • Knowledge and understanding of compiling and preparing executive summaries, whitepapers, and presentations for management/senior leaders
  • Write and execute test scripts and document results
  • Update process flows from recordings or requirements
  • Facilitate Backlog Refinement and create delivery roadmaps
  • Back up PO in any Agile Ceremony
  • Gather and condition test data for both Development and UAT
  • Create User Guide and/or other LOB reference materials
  • Be responsible for feature builds, upgrades, platform vulnerabilities, and product enhancements
  • Work with leaders, stakeholders, SMEs, Scrum Masters, Project Managers, Product Owners, and Delivery Teams to ensure success against stated customer business value
  • Review requirements and build test scenarios/test scripts independently
  • Work with business teams and perform testing, help with test coordination, defect reporting, etc.
  • Lead backlog prioritization of upgrades or product enhancements
  • Adjust planning in situations that may include financial, control, or process roadblocks
  • Inspect pre-release progress, recommend changes, and ensure timelines are met
  • Ensure cross-functional dependencies are articulated, managed, and addressed by all constituents
  • Enhance/monitor key performance indicators and identify improvement opportunities while ensuring all regulatory and compliance needs are met
