Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Engineer/Assistant Manager to join our team at Emerson. As a key member of our project management team, you will be responsible for ensuring the successful execution of projects, meeting profitability targets, and delivering high-quality results.

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Include:

  • Reconciling new orders and ensuring timely delivery, with a focus on customer satisfaction and profitability.
  • Planning and implementing project internal kick-off meetings, providing clarity to internal collaborators on customer requirements.
  • Leading customer kick-off meetings and ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
  • FOLLOWING Emerson's project management process for large and special projects, including facilitating reviews of project specs during the quote stage and preparing margin uplift plans.
  • Ensuring timely submission of project documents for customer review and approval, with a focus on systematic tracking and revisions.
  • Providing regular project status reports to customers and addressing execution concerns.
  • Collaborating with the Operations team to identify execution challenges and advancing issues to management for speedy resolution.
  • Ensuring timely delivery of projects, working with customers to address execution challenges and reduce or eliminate LD impact.
  • FACILITATING timely processing of change orders and working with customers to obtain price and delivery impact.
  • Ensuring timely shipment of projects cleared for FAT, meeting monthly shipment plans.
  • Participating in PM calls with local and AP management, presenting project status and challenges.

You will be a strategic thinker, able to balance planning and actions, and a problem solver, able to identify and address execution challenges. You will be a team player, able to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to achieve project goals.

    For This Role, You Will Need:

    • Good interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and internal stakeholders.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and the necessary skills to effectively apply technology and systems specific to the department.
    • Job holder reports to the Manager - Project Management.
    • Building trust and relationships with customers, internal relationships with cross-functional teams.

      Preferred Qualifications:

      • Bachelor's degree in engineering (mechanical/chemical or related discipline), with a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience.
      • Good process knowledge about manufacturing processes.
      • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and the necessary skills to effectively utilize technology and systems specific to the department.
      • Good interpersonal and communication skills.
      • EMS & ISO 45001.
      • Awareness of EMS & ISO 45001 practices.
      • Experience in ISO 14001:2015 - ISO 45001:2018 - ISO 9001:2015 procedures & instructions.
