Lead Scientific Writer

As a Lead Scientific Writer, you will play a vital role in creating high-quality medical content for our clients. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a talented team of professionals who share your passion for scientific writing and communication.

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced scientific writer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in medical writing, excellent literature surveillance skills, and the ability to communicate complex scientific information to various audiences.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive medical content strategies that align with client goals and objectives.
  • Conduct thorough literature searches and data fact-checks to ensure accuracy and quality of medical content.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including quality assurance, creative, copy-editing, business excellence, and project management, to deliver exceptional documents and maintain client satisfaction metrics.
  • Participate in routine client meetings and lead these meetings when necessary, planning and scoping projects from kick-off call to submission.
  • Mentor and upskill junior writers as part of the training process, preparing and updating specific training documents as needed.

Requirements:

  • Master's degree or Ph.D. in Life Sciences, English, or related field.
  • At least 4 years of experience in medical communication, scientific writing, content writing, medical review, or publication experience in the life sciences domain.

Skills:

  • Strong medical writing and literature surveillance skills.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills in English.
  • Proficiency in reference manager tools and CRM platforms.
