Job Title: Cost Controller

Description:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Cost Management Specialist to strengthen our finance function and drive performance.

The ideal candidate will ensure budgetary compliance, forecast accuracy, and support decision-making through detailed cost analysis.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Project Budget Management: Collaborate with project managers to develop, monitor, and control project budgets. Track actual project costs versus budgets, particularly staff time allocation and related expenses.
  • Resource Optimization: Maintain real-time visibility of staff deployment across projects. Work with HR and project leads to track man-hours and ensure efficient resource utilization.
  • Cost Reporting & Forecasting: Prepare weekly/monthly project cost reports with variance analysis and commentary. Provide cost insights to senior leadership for resource planning and profitability analysis.
  • Process Improvement: Establish cost control systems, procedures, and reporting formats. Ensure compliance with internal controls and client-specific requirements.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; CMA, CA or MBA, is a plus.
  • 8–10 years of experience in cost management, preferably in a project-based or consulting environment.
