Job Summary:

  • We are seeking an experienced High Performance Computing Specialist to design and build high-performance computing infrastructure, assess current AI infrastructure needs, and plan for future growth.
  • The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of operating systems, including Linux (RHEL, CentOS, SuSE), and languages like C, C++, bash, and Python.
  • They will also be familiar with schedulers and resource management tools, such as PBS, SLURM, Grid Engine, and LSF.
  • Experience with cluster management tools, including xCAT, Bright Cluster Manager, and War wolf, is highly desirable.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and build high-performance computing infrastructure to meet business requirements.
  • Assess current AI infrastructure needs and plan for future growth.
  • Deploy, configure, and manage high-performance computing systems, including CPU, GPU, middleware, and orchestration tools.
  • Configure and manage Parallel File Systems, such as GPFS, Lustre, Weka, BeeGFS, and VAST.
  • Implement monitoring and observability tools for AI clusters, including Grafana, Nagios, Zabbix, and Ganglia.
  • Manage and troubleshoot network issues with InfiniBand, ROCE, UFM, NETQ, and other tools.
  • Provide technical expertise in cloud infrastructure management, AWS, GCP, and Kubernetes.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 8 years of experience in high-performance computing and related fields.
  • Strong understanding of operating systems, including Linux (RHEL, CentOS, SuSE), and languages like C, C++, bash, and Python.
  • Familiarity with schedulers and resource management tools, such as PBS, SLURM, Grid Engine, and LSF.
  • Experience with cluster management tools, including xCAT, Bright Cluster Manager, and War wolf.
  • Knowledge of compilers and libraries, including GNU, Intel, OpenMPI, Cuda, MPI, and Networking technologies.
