Job Title: Senior Consultant

At Logic Information Systems, we are dedicated to solving retail problems with a consumer-centric approach. Our team applies a unique lens to business challenges, focusing on retail systems integration that empowers clients with knowledge and support. We are seeking a talented Senior Consultant to join our MOM Practice, working closely with retail clients as trusted advisors. This role requires a blend of strong analytical, communication, problem-solving, and business skills. Successful candidates must have demonstrated expertise in required technology and/or possess functional knowledge. Key responsibilities include identifying and documenting client business challenges, providing system demonstrations, testing, and training, and engineering technical and/or functional solutions to meet client requirements. The ideal candidate should be energized by change and comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving business environment. Additional responsibilities include developing technical and functional expertise across the range of Oracle Retail Merchandising Suite for prescriptive and/or customized software implementations, developing and testing artifacts in data conversion, integration, and product customization, applying relevant Oracle methodologies and best practices, and following standard practices and procedures to analyze situations and data and deliver technical solutions.

What You'll Bring:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience with 5+ years of development experience in IT
  • Functional skill in any one of the Oracle Retail applications
  • Technical skill in SQL, PL/SQL, UNIX, Java, Shell Scripting, and other Oracle technologies
  • A proactive nature and high attention to detail, with the ability to work as a team player
  • Client-facing skills, with consulting experience a must
  • Willingness to travel or work temporarily on different time zones
  • Implementation experience in retail, preferably for a retailer
  • Passion for learning and a desire to develop technical and consultative skills
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with project and practice teams and client stakeholders
  • Strong interpersonal and networking skills
  • Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Willingness to learn Oracle Retail and build Retail domain competencies
  • Flexible and able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
