We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Insurance Verification/Prior Authorization Specialist to support our sleep specialist office.
About the Role:
This is a key position in our operations, responsible for medical insurance verification and prior authorization. The ideal candidate will have experience in this field and excellent communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Verify medical insurance coverage for patients;
- Obtain prior authorization from insurance providers;
- Maintain accurate records of patient information and insurance data;
- Communicate effectively with healthcare professionals and patients;
- Stay up-to-date with changing insurance policies and regulations.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience;
- Minimum 2 years of experience in medical insurance verification/prior authorization;
- Excellent communication and organizational skills;
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment;
- Proficiency in electronic health record systems and Microsoft Office.
