Job Title: Senior Automation Engineer

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Senior Automation Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this pivotal role, you will play a crucial part in designing, developing, and executing automated test scripts to ensure the quality of our software applications.

As a key member of our engineering team, you will have the opportunity to work on challenging projects, collaborate with developers and product managers, and participate in sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives. You will also be responsible for identifying, logging, and tracking bugs, conducting code reviews, and providing feedback on automation best practices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop robust and scalable test automation frameworks using Selenium WebDriver and Java.
  • Develop and execute automated test cases for web-based applications.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify test requirements and ensure comprehensive test coverage.
  • Participate in Agile development methodologies, including sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
  • Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines, ensuring seamless deployment and delivery.
  • Identify, log, and track bugs, utilizing tools like JIRA or similar.
  • Conduct code reviews, providing actionable feedback on automation best practices.

Requirements:

  • 4-7 years of experience in Test Automation, with strong proficiency in Java.
  • Hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver, TestNG or JUnit.
  • Experience building and maintaining automation frameworks (Data Driven, Keyword Driven, Hybrid, etc.).
  • Strong understanding of object-oriented programming and design principles.
  • Experience with Maven/Gradle, Git, and version control systems.
  • Knowledge of RESTful API automation, using RestAssured, Postman, or similar tools.
  • Familiarity with BDD tools like Cucumber is a plus.
  • Good understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
