Job Title: Oracle Database Administrator Team Lead

About the Role

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Grid Installation and Upgradation, as well as expertise in Oracle RAC, Performance Tuning, Dataguard, and Golden Gate.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Expert-level understanding of Oracle database architecture.
  • Collaboration with various teams to resolve performance issues.
  • Specialized knowledge of Oracle RAC, with a deep understanding of complexity across Servers, OS, network, and storage layer.
  • Experience working on Oracle Engineered systems, including Exadata, SSC box, and ExaCM.
  • Strong SQL tuning skills and experience refactoring queries to improve performance.
  • Ability to diagnose performance issues from SQL to Application to Database to System to Storage.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to traverse infrastructure layers to diagnose issues.
  • Expertise in HA features of Oracle database.
  • Complete understanding of Oracle database's backup recovery options.
  • Ability to work under pressure in production environments on databases across all flavours of OS.
  • Strong communication skills are essential.
Qualifications:

18+ years of experience in the field, with prior working experience in Telecom or BFSI companies required. Mandatory skills include RAC (Installation, Upgradation, and Management), Database backup and recovery, and DB Migration and performance tuning.
