Transaction Services Specialist

We are seeking a seasoned Transaction Services specialist to join our team in a pivotal role, working on complex high-profile transactions such as acquisitions, mergers, and buyouts.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead financial due diligence engagements to identify key transaction issues, utilizing strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Prepare high-quality reports, reviewing sections compiled by junior team members and ensuring timely completion.
  • Manage smaller assignments independently or assist on larger ones under Partner supervision, maintaining effective communication with clients and team members.
  • Build credibility with clients, representing Transaction Services in deal discussions and developing strategic relationships.
  • Support proposals, business development, and practice development initiatives, contributing to the growth of our Transaction Services department.
  • Mentor and provide feedback to junior staff, fostering a collaborative work environment and promoting professional development.
  • Ensure risk management and compliance documentation is completed as per firm standards, maintaining the highest level of quality and integrity.
  • Contribute to team morale, maintaining a positive and supportive work environment that encourages open communication and collaboration.
Desired Candidate Profile:
  • Qualification: Chartered Accountant
  • Experience: 5–8 years in Transaction Services / Financial Due Diligence / Audit or Accounting firms, with a strong background in financial analysis and report writing.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and report writing skills, with proficiency in MS Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to manage multiple assignments, tight deadlines, and client demands, with excellent time management and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication skills (written & verbal), with the ability to effectively communicate complex financial concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to work under pressure, with a willingness to travel (domestic & international) and adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead teams and engage with clients, promoting a positive and collaborative work environment.
