Automation Testing Engineer

We seek a visionary Automation Testing Engineer with exceptional expertise in automation framework design, test automation initiative leadership, and mentoring junior engineers. A successful candidate will possess hands-on experience designing and implementing automation frameworks, leading test automation initiatives, and ensuring excellent problem-solving skills, technical leadership, and high-quality software delivery.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain robust automation frameworks using Selenium with Python.
  • Drive API automation testing strategies using Python and tools like Postman/RestAssured/Requests library.
  • Collaborate with developers, QA engineers, and product teams to define and implement effective test strategies.
  • Ensure comprehensive automation coverage across functional, regression, and integration testing.
  • Perform root-cause analysis of defects and ensure quick turnaround on fixes.
  • Mentor and guide junior automation engineers within the team.
  • Adhere to QA best practices, processes, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Provide technical leadership in test automation and contribute to overall QA roadmap.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • 7–9 years of experience in Automation Testing, with at least 3+ years in a lead/mentorship role.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver and Python.
  • Expertise in API test automation (REST/SOAP APIs) using Python libraries or tools.
  • Solid understanding of automation frameworks (Hybrid, Data-driven, Page Object Model, BDD/TDD).
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, etc.).
  • Good knowledge of test management tools (JIRA, TestRail, Zephyr, etc.).
  • Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
Desirable Skills:
  • Exposure to performance testing tools (JMeter, Locust).
  • Experience with cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • Knowledge of containerization tools like Docker/Kubernetes.
