Chief Identity Protection Specialist

As a seasoned cybersecurity professional, we seek an expert in identity management to join our organization.
This role requires a deep understanding of IAM technologies and financial regulations such as PSD2. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Java and a strong focus on secure access control.
The Security Identity Engineer will be responsible for designing and implementing secure, scalable IAM solutions for internal systems and client integrations. They must ensure compliance with financial regulations while supporting mission-critical services in core banking, issuing, and acquiring.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage IAM solutions to secure access to internal systems and client integrations.
- Design and implement secure authentication mechanisms, including Single Sign-On (SSO), Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), and passwordless login.
- Ensure IAM processes comply with financial regulations, including PSD2 and PCI/DSS.
- Build and support robust role-based access control (RBAC) and attribute-based access control (ABAC) models.
- Deploy identity federation protocols such as SAML, OAuth2.0, and OpenID Connect.
Additionally, they will investigate and resolve security incidents related to identity or access breaches, implement and maintain monitoring solutions, and collaborate with engineering, DevOps, and compliance teams to embed IAM best practices across products and services.
