Job Description

This is an exciting opportunity to join 0548 Varex Imaging India Private Limited as a Senior Financial Systems Consultant.

Your Role

  • Design, implement, and support SAP Financials, focusing on FICO, Controlling, Cost Center Accounting, Profit Center Accounting, Product Costing, Profitability Analysis, Project System, Results Analysis, Unsettled Costs, Month End Close, Overhead Assessment, and Settlement.
  • Analyze complex business process requirements and develop suitable system solutions, identifying, interpreting, validating, and documenting financial support requirements.
  • Collaborate with business teams and subject matter experts to collect business requirements in support of projects.
  • Map client business requirements, processes, and objectives, and develop necessary SAP configurations to resolve problems and implement improvements in financial processing.
  • Design, customize, configure, and test FI/CO functional processes.
  • Identify gaps, issues, and work-around solutions.
  • Act as a liaison between users and the development team to troubleshoot, investigate, analyze, and solve SAP process issues.
  • Document functional designs, test cases, and results.
  • Proactively identify and propose business process and/or system enhancements.
  • Support both new implementations and existing support projects.
  • Provide ad-hoc training and user support as required.
  • Work independently and may act as a subject matter mentor to junior team members and business SMEs.
  • Design, develop, test, and deploy custom reports, interfaces, enhancements, and forms in the SAP system, and conduct unit testing.
  • Write detailed functional specifications for ABAP developers.
  • Debug ABAP code and resolve issues as required.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business, accounting, computer science, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in full-cycle support projects and implementations.
  • 5+ years of SAP experience supporting General Ledger, including functions such as FI, CO, and Tax modules.
  • Experience in FI integration points with other SAP modules, such as MM, PP, IM/WM, SD/SM/PS, and PM.
  • Experience in AMS/support environment is a plus.
  • Understanding of accounting business processes is necessary.
  • Ability to write detailed functional specifications for ABAP developers.
  • Strong understanding of SAP FI, CO, and Tax modules.
  • Experience with change control processes and validation desired.
