Senior Hosting Product Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Senior Hosting Product Specialist to join our team. This role will involve monitoring the stability of our products, providing L1/L2 support for hosting products, and handling incident response and troubleshooting.

About the Job:

  • Monitor the stability of our products using various internal tools.
  • Provide L1/L2 support for all hosting products, including cpanel, plesk, vps, cloud, and dedicated.
  • Handle incident response, troubleshooting, and fix for various products and services.
  • Escalate issues as per policies and procedures.
  • Facilitate communication among internal and external groups to resolve production site issues effectively.
  • Exhibit a sense of urgency in resolving issues.
  • Develop advanced automation workflows to automate repeated issues.
  • Collaborate with the infrastructure team to deploy and maintain Linux/Windows servers using automated scripts and a predefined runbook.
  • Ensure SLAs and operational standards are met.
  • Raise tickets to internal groups to resolve recurrent problems and follow up on escalated issues.
  • Liaise with engineering teams for RCA, permanent resolutions, and issue escalations.
  • Contribute to the Operations handbook.
  • Ensure smooth hand-offs between shifts.
Requirements:
  • Graduate degree in Information Technology or Computer Science with consistently strong academic performance.
  • Good understanding of Linux systems, shell scripting, and networking fundamentals.
  • Familiarity with Windows operating systems and networking protocols.
  • Basic DNS and networking knowledge.
  • Application protocol knowledge, including SMTP, HTTP, FTP, IMAP, and POP.
