Backend Software Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced software engineer to join our dynamic team.

About the Role:

The ideal candidate will have strong backend development skills with proficiency in Java, Node.js, and related frameworks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable systems using Java and Node.js.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, design solutions, and implement features.
  • Build and maintain RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
  • Ensure performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
  • Participate in code reviews, design discussions, and agile processes.
  • Integrate with databases (SQL and NoSQL), third-party services, and internal APIs.
  • Write unit, integration, and end-to-end tests to ensure code quality.
  • Troubleshoot production issues and provide timely resolutions.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in software development.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Java, Spring Boot, and related frameworks.
  • Proficiency in Node.js for backend development.
  • Solid understanding of microservices architecture and API development.
  • Experience with databases like MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB.
  • Familiarity with Docker, Git, and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Exposure to cloud platforms is preferred.
  • Agile experience and familiarity with tools like Jira.

Preferred Skills:

  • Frontend development experience is a plus.
  • Experience with message queues like Kafka or RabbitMQ.
  • Knowledge of authentication protocols.
