Frontend Web Development Lead

We are looking for an experienced Frontend Web Development Lead to oversee the frontend architecture of our web application and lead the development team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in modern web frameworks, UI/UX best practices, and software engineering principles.

The successful candidate will guide the team in implementing clean, modular designs and high-performance applications while enforcing best practices and mentoring junior engineers. They will be responsible for leading design and implementation of scalable and maintainable UI features, collaborating with backend developers, designers, and product managers, and contributing to full-stack development when needed.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Own and evolve the frontend architecture of our web application.
  • Lead design and implementation of scalable and maintainable UI features.
  • Collaborate with backend developers, designers, and product managers to deliver cohesive and functional features.
  • Contribute to full-stack development when needed, ensuring seamless integration across layers.

Team Mentorship & Code Quality:

  • Guide and support junior and mid-level developers through mentorship and code reviews.
  • Establish and enforce coding standards, modular design practices, and component reuse.
  • Drive engineering excellence through design discussions, architecture reviews, and performance evaluations.

Technical Requirements:

  • 6+ years of experience in frontend development with expertise in React, Vue, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
  • Proficient in component-based architecture, UI/UX best practices, and scalable CSS.
  • Deep experience integrating frontend with REST and GraphQL APIs.
  • Knowledge of routing, authentication flows, lazy loading, and code splitting.
  • Strong foundation in software engineering principles, including SOLID and DRY.
  • Experience with modern frontend tooling (Vite, Webpack, Babel, ESLint, Prettier).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Full stack experience with Node.js, Express, or serverless backend environments.
  • Experience working with CI/CD pipelines, Docker, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • Familiarity with design tools (Figma, Storybook) and implementing pixel-perfect UIs.
  • Exposure to accessibility standards and performance audits.
  • Experience working in startup or agile product development environments.
