Web Development Leadership Opportunity

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced web development leader to oversee our team of frontend and backend developers in delivering high-quality, pixel-perfect, and performance-optimized websites and web applications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Ownership & Delivery: Take ownership of end-to-end website and web app projects from kickoff to deployment, ensuring timely, bug-free delivery and deployment.
  • Team Management: Lead and mentor a team of 3–6 web developers, conduct code reviews, set coding standards, and foster a strong tech culture.
  • Client Collaboration: Act as technical lead and client-facing SPOC for web-related projects, translate client requirements into technical scope, timelines, and roadmaps.
  • Cross-Team Collaboration: Work closely with UI/UX designers, SEO, performance marketing, and branding teams to ensure design fidelity, responsiveness, SEO readiness, fast-loading, scalable websites.
  • Code Quality & Infrastructure: Set up scalable architecture, version control (Git), staging environments, and CI/CD pipelines where needed, ensure responsiveness, performance optimization, SEO best practices, and accessibility standards.

Technical Requirements:

  • Frontend: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React.js, Next.js
  • Backend: Node.js / PHP / Python (any), APIs, REST/GraphQL
  • CMS: WordPress (with custom theme/plugin dev), Headless CMS (optional)
  • eCommerce: Shopify, WooCommerce
  • DevOps: Git, GitHub/GitLab, Vercel/Netlify, cPanel, Docker (optional)

Essential Skills:

  • 3–5+ years of experience in web development, with 1–2 years in a leadership or project management role.
  • Hands-on expertise in both frontend and backend (or strong full-stack).
  • Strong project management, task prioritization, and delivery focus.
  • Ability to manage clients, clarify requirements, and propose solutions.
