Audit Senior Position

Job Overview:

This is a senior-level audit position within a public accounting firm. As an Audit Senior, you will be responsible for leading and participating in audits, reviews, and compilations for clients across various industries under US GAAP and US GAAS.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform and assist with audits, reviews, and compilations for clients in various industries.
  • Prepare and analyze financial statements and evaluate internal controls.
  • Coordinate the day-to-day duties of planning, fieldwork, and wrap-up.
  • Develop a deep understanding of accounting and reporting standards generally accepted in the United States.
  • Conduct independent research on US GAAP & US GAAS.
  • Develop reasonable time budgets and coordinate audit requests to meet time constraints and client deadlines.
  • Mentor, train, and supervise junior staff.
  • Contribute to strong client relationships through positive interactions with client personnel.

Requirements:

  • CPA (or in process) or CA with 3-5 years of experience within a public accounting firm or US auditing CPA firm.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and multi-tasking abilities are required.
  • Industry exposure: NFP and/or General Commercial Audit.
  • Demonstrated teamwork and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work well independently but also work well with others.
